The main disadvantage of having a diesel, no nice smell when you fill up. No one ever mentions that bad point for some reason.

I put 91 octane in my Abarth and a tank costs less than $40 here.

I only put 93 in my Magnum. Typical tank will run me about $55 for just over 3/4 tank. Car calls for 91, but runs way better on 93 (20ish MPG average).

Congrats. Ignore anyone who says the fumes are bad for you. Suck it in and don't worry too much about catching a DUI; the high only lasts about a minute, so by the time you hit the road you should be good to go.

feed that thing better, it deserves it. but that is a big tank. my wagon has an 18 gallon tank, which is pretty damn big for the car.

that seems odd to me, But my Mom had me start pumping gas when I was 10 years old or so. At least in the winter anyway. She, and my older sisters didn't want to get out of the warm car so once my brother(the oldest of the four of us) got a car and stopped riding with us, she started making me do it even tho I was the youngest. However I didn't mined I thought it was awesome, I finally got to do the thing only my Dad and big Brother did.

A few years ago I pulled up to a gas station, and told my buddy, "here

s my credit card, go ahead and gas the car up I'm going inside to get gum" (this was before credit cards had pins) and then he asked my how to do it. He was 24.

I wish I could pick up 93 here. 91 is the highest you can normally get in AZ, and our 91 is still shittier than other regions in the country. There is a station here in a ritzy part of the valley that has 95 and 100 octane pump gas. I've ran that a couple of times and it was nice.
